Welcome to Discovery Fishing Charters, home of the Gold Coast’s most personalised deep sea experience. Our Fishing tours are fun, safe and educational for all ages (12 and up) and experience levels. We off a choice of 5, 7, or 9 hour (for private charters) charters, available for morning and afternoon bookings. You’re in good hands with our friendly and professional Skipper and crew. Highly experienced and keen local fisherman will demonstrate fishing techniques for all the various species of fish. The experienced crew will also move to various known fishing spots to help with the catch, they won’t just sit in one spot all day.

• All catches will be gilled, gutted and bagged for you to take home and enjoy.

Discovery Fishing Charters on the Gold Coast offer a vast variety of fish species to catch. They fish all year round for snapper, jewfish, cobia, tailor, teraglin, flathead, tusk fish and more, we have even caught a Giant Trevally. The longer 7 and 9 hour mixed or private charters go further offshore chasing a better chance of catching Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish), Marlin, Wahoo and Mackerel, these charters are for the serious fishermen.

“Discovery” has 500hp motors and travels at 20 knots getting you offshore faster… meaning more time fishing. The Discovery vessel is a stable 9.13m Catamaran where you can take a load off, relax and be seated while fishing and protected from the elements with full covered roof and roll down clears on all sides.

At Discovery Fishing you can experience a full private charter from just $160 per person.
